Effect

Displays the list of disk images and directories that are in the root directory of the virtual USB drive or in the current directory of the storage device connected to the USB port of the Rookie Drive.

You can't specify wildcards, all the files will be listed.

Notes for virtual USB drives:

  • It's useful to use this instruction before CALL INSERTDISK.
  • The execution of this instruction sets the disk in "off-line" state. To go back to the "on-line" state, it is then required to use CALL INSERTDISK or CALL REBOOT, these instructions will activate the parameters of the USBMSX.INI file.

Note for storage devices:

  • The files and directories are always listed in the order in which their directory entries are physically located in the device. If you want to see them in alphabetical order you'll have to use a tool to permanently reorder them from within another computer.
