ASCII Corporation logo

ASCII Corporation was the main driving force behind the MSX standard. Since 2002 some ASCII and MSX copyrights are managed by the MSX Association.

They also published MSX software and a Japanese MSX Magazine, sold various MSX peripherals under the ASCII brand, and designed the R800 processor for the MSX Turbo R.
