Introduction

Demo published in March 1989 by the FAC team on a single sided disk. Also known as "The FAC" demo.

It is actually the first production of this Dutch team and also the first of the serie of five FAC demos. The ripped music supports PSG and SCC. The graphical part consists of some color loops and ripped screen 7 and 8 graphics.

This demo is not compatible with some computers, it will crash especially on Daewoo MSX2, Sanyo MSX2+, Panasonic MSX2+ and Turbo R machines.

A cartridge with SCC/SCC+ soundchip or compatible is required to fully enjoy it. SCC Konami cartridges are usable but remember: Do not insert a cartridge with the MSX turned on!!!. However, safe options exist:

• slotexpanders with switches
• SCC cartridges modified with switch or converted to Megasram (aka ESE-RAM)
• use an MSX emulator

Intro

This part is in screen 7 with PSG music. The intro displays an animated red FAC logo and the only text scroll of this demo:

"HEY FOLKS ! HERE IS THE FAC SPEAKING TO YOU ! FIRST SOME THINGS ABOUT THE FAC : FAC STANDS FOR FEDERATION AGAINST COMMODORE... THE IDEA CAME FROM USE CRACKINGS (WHEN YOU DON'T BELIEVE THIS YOU JUST HAVE TO LOOK AT THEIR 'ULTRA-KICK' DEMO !)... NOW THE FAC IS AN OFFICIAL DEMO ASSOCIATION... THE MEMBERS UP TILL NOW ARE : USE CRACKINGS - HAAISOFT - THE ART DEVISION - ROWISOFT ... AND NOW ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING : WHEN YOU WANT TO BE A MEMBER OF THE FAC YOU ONLY HAVE TO MENTION IT IN SOMETHING YOU MADE YOURSELF !... NOW WE HAVE TO TYPE ONE AND A HALF SCREEN FULL ... Commodore Destroyer

This part includes two pictures in screen 8 with Nemesis SCC musics. It looks like that Rambo could have been recruited by the FAC to destroy Commodore computers! Press on CTRL+STOP to hear different musics.

Toutankhamon

Back to screen 7 for this part that uses the resources of the MSX2 color palette. The FAC associates very logically Toutankhamon to the SCC music of King's Valley II. And you can here also press on CTRL+STOP to hear different musics.

Amiga Destroyer

It looks like an obsession! This time, Solid Snake is in action as you can hear Metal Gear PSG music on an animation in screen 7 that symbolises this destruction work!

MSX2

Already the final part in screen 7 with an animated green MSX2 logo, followed by the credits. No any music here, it's a little sad...
