Description

It's a tool provided by ASCII Corporation with the MSX-DOS Super Handbook, published in 1988. It was developed by Kenichi Nagai (長井健一).

It is also available on disk image 2 embedded with BASIC option of MSX-PLAYer (version 1) on MSX Magazine Eternal Preservation Edition.

Command

Effect

Displays data from one file while using kanji fonts on Screen 7.

Note: You need at least a MSX2 with built-in or external Kanji-ROM.

Syntax

KTYPE <Filename>

Parameter

<Filename> is the file name to type. You need to specify the complete file name, in the format 8 characters followed by a point and an extension with 3 characters.
