Description

The Pioneer PX-V7 is a MSX1 computer, aimed at the Japanese market. It was meant for attaching to a LaserDisc player, and as such has superimpose capabilities.

The PX-V7 was available in silver with lilac keyboard keys. The separate keyboard has the reference AWX-291. The package includes the RF converter PX-RF7 for using on an NTSC TV.

It has been released almost at the same time as the silver version of the PX-7 and the provided manual is common to both computers. While the PX-7 was available in the big net of commercial market, the PX-V7 was sold to Japanese schools and used for educational purposes. The price of this computer is unknown.

Help needed
This machine seems to be identical to the PX-7. If you have a PX-V7, we would appreciate your assistance to check the inside of the machine. It would be especially helpful if you could dump the ROMs so they can be compared to the ones from the PX-7. If you are able and willing to assist, please let it be known in the forums.
