Description

It's a MSX-DOS 1 tool created by Paul te Bokkel. You can find it in MSX Computer Magazine 38 and the corresponding MCMD37 disk. The DOS file is only one of the 4 possibilities to install this screensaver.

Installation

A MSX-BASIC file SCRSAV is provided to install this tool. The menu includes 5 options:

1 = install in the PLAY buffer
2 = install on top of memory
3 = generate the SCRSAV.COM file for installation under MSX-DOS in the PLAY buffer
4 = generate the SCRSAV.BIN file for installation in the PLAY buffer with BLOAD"SCRSAV.BIN",R
5 = change the time without activity (by default, it's 3 minutes).

Effect

Protects the screen of your monitor after a time without activity, specified during the installation.

Syntax

SCRSAV

Usage

When the screen is protected, press any key except ESC to see the 'normal' screen again. If you press ESC, the screensaver will be disabled.
