Description
It's a MSX-DOS 1 tool created by Albert Siersema for the DCS Teltron 1200 modem. A MSX2 or higher computer is required.
You can find it on the disk corresponding to MSX Club Magazine 29 in the compressed file TRN80-32.ARC.
Command
Effect
Launches a terminal program to be used with the Teltron 1200 modem.
Syntax
TRONMOD
Note: Use MODE 80 before to put your computer in 80 columns text mode.
Usage
This command does not take parameters.
After launching, you access a main menu where you can press the following keys:
- 1 to 4 to change the modem speed
- 5 to work online
- 6 to work offline
- 7 to use the Phone Book
- 8 to access the On-Line Shell
- 0 to quit TRONMOD
- H to get some help
Useful keys when you are online:
- GRAPH + K = back to main menu
- GRAPH + Q = hang up and back to main menu
- GRAPH + S = go to the On-Line Shell
Phone Book
Useful keys:
- up and down cursors = select a line
- ESC = back to main menu
- SPACE = toggle for modem speed and emulation in edit mode
- RETURN = enter data in edit mode
- E = edit selected line
- K = dial up selected line
- W = delete selected line
Data:
- BBS name - maximum 25 characters
- Phone number - maximum 19 characters, accepted characters: 0 to 9 and -
- Modem speed (1200 - 3000 - 75 - 300A)
- Emulation (none - IBM characters - ANSI - IBM characters + ANSI)
On-Line Shell
Useful keys:
- RETURN = back to main menu
- D = download a file using the Xmodem protocol
- E = emulation toggle (None - IBM characters - ANSI - IBM characters + ANSI)
- L = logfile toggle (ON/OFF)
- P = printer echo toggle (ON/OFF)
- U = upload a file using the Xmodem protocol
