Description
Computer
The Talent TPC-310 is the most ambitious MSX computer released in Argentina, it's a MSX2 that is ready to be combined with a digitizer/superimposer module. As its little brothers TPP-311 and TPS-312, it has been completely manufactured by the Telemática/Talent association, without any help from Daewoo.
This machine has a special feature: If you keep LeftCTRL pressed, and enter numbers that correspond to the ASCII number of a character, you get this character on the screen.

Firmware
This computer comes with 2 built-in software applications:
- the Turbo BASIC compiler (also known as X-BASIC) 1.0 that can be used in MSX-BASIC programs to make them faster by adding CALL TURBO OFF, CALL TURBO ON and CALL BC to the BASIC instructions
- the Accessories software that can be launched by pressing LeftCTRL + LeftSHIFT: Settings, Scientific Calculator, Clock, Fifteen puzzle game, Calendar
Due to an incorrect initialisation of the S1985 memory by the built-in software, the cursor does not move the first time that you launch the Accessories software. The solution is simple: after this first attempt, reboot the computer, then relaunch the firmware.
An easter egg is hidden in the Accessories software: before selecting an option, move the cursor to the lower right part of the screen, then press the spacebar. If you are on the right location, you will see the names and visages of the Telemática team.
