Introduction

Wolf (Maarten van Strien, 1978) is a Dutch composer, designer, writer and programmer who has been in and around the MSX scene since 1991, when he joined the Royal MSX Force.

Over the years Wolf contributed to a wide range of MSX scene productions. From 1997-2001 he studied musictechnology in Hilversum, the Netherlands. During these so-called silent years he joined the PC demogroup Logic Design which later merged with the PC/Amiga demogroup The Black Lotus. Since 1997 he has done professional music ranging from commercials to comedy series.

In the 21st century he gradually returned from the silent years and the PC-scene (though formally still a TBL-member). In 2004 he started Infinite, together with Chao5, and strives to bring innovative design to games and demos. Since 2008 he's studying journalism in Zwolle, the Netherlands.

He joined MRC as writer in 2006, and replaced Bart Schouten as secretary of the MRC Foundation in 2007. From that moment he became MRC's main news writer, filling up a gap left by snout who found himself without time and motivation during that period.
