Description

The Zemmix Neo is a computer originally created by a team in Korea. It was never commercially released, and only a 100 units were created. The system is based on the design of the One Chip MSX, with the addition of a scanline generator.

The team subsequently created a cost reduced version, the Zemmix Neo Lite, the main difference being the aluminium casing. This version was created in slightly larger numbers and bought by various users outside Korea.

The Zemmix name is a homage to the Daewoo Zemmix game consoles, and means 'It's Fun' in Korean.

The Korean team has said they would not create any more Zemmix Neo machines, but they did create a limited number of Mini IQ-3000 systems in 2014.

In 2015, a Brazilian team created their own Zemmix Neo, but with a plastic case instead of Aluminium.

In 2017, Carmeloco & ManuFerHi out of Spain produced another Zemmix Neo, with a transparent Plexiglas top and bottom and white PCB.

In 2018, 8bits4ever out of Spain created another Zemmix Neo, this time with a 3D printed case.
